The Power of Intention – How You Can Participate

To better understand NMT and the power of intention, some NMT Practitioners recommend that their new clients read, The Intention Experiment by Lynne McTaggart.  I’ve found recently that I’m recommending this book more and more and not necessarily just to clients who are new to NMT, but to those who have experience with the technique.  I find that as clients experience the effects of NMT, they seem to become even more fascinated with ”how” NMT works.

In the beginning, they may not fully understand the entire process, but usually a recommendation from another client is enough to get them started on NMT.  One client who was comfortable not understanding all of the “hows” of NMT, said to me, “I don’t understand how my TV works, but that doesn’t keep me from watching it.”  I’m fine with that, they don’t have to understand all of the science behind the technique to get benefit from it, but for those who want to delve deeper, this book does a great job distilling scientific research into easy to understand language.

Another nice thing about The Intention Experiment is that all of the readers of the book can be part of ”the largest mind over matter experiment in history.”  According to Lynne McTaggart’s website:

“The Intention Experiment is a series of scientifically controlled, web-based experiments testing the power of intention to change the physical world.  Thousands of volunteers from 30 countries around the world have participated in Intention Experiments thus far.  Lynne McTaggart, architect of the experiments, is working with leading physicists and psychologists from the University of Arizona, Princeton University, the International Institute of Biophysics, Cambridge University and the Institute of Noetic Sciences.  These experiments are being run at McTaggart’s seminars and conferences and on the web, and have produced extraordinary results.”
